The nature of executive work is increasingly complex. In addition to the necessary technical knowledge, there is an ever-widening range of skills, abilities and knowledge necessary to be able to perform their functions effectively in this tremendously volatile and complex environment in which we have to operate.
This reality requires a permanent update. And reality shows us that, unfortunately, the available time for training and training itself is scarce. This forces us to be very selective with the contents, formats and training tools, and to make very flexible approaches, which allow business leaders to make their professional obligations and their necessary recycling compatible in the best possible way.
The Wood Industry Cluster in Galicia and UIE are perfectly aware of this situation. For this reason, and after an exhaustive consultation process with the associated companies, we have designed what we have called MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
Organization and contents
We are talking about a training process that aims to update knowledge, tools, abilities and management models in different fields and areas of the company, always focused on managers, directors and authorities, that is, professionals with decision-making capacity in the company.
In order to achieve greater flexibility we propose a modular structure, which allows attendees to define a tailored training plan, selecting which specific areas or topics are priorities for themselves and for their team members.
We propose in this first edition a program with a duration of 48 hours, organized in 6 workshops of 8 hours each that can be taken independently. The themes chosen for this edition has been:
- COMMUNICATE AND CONNECT WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEOPLE
- POSITIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT
- ECONOMIC FINANTIAL DIAGNOSIS (2 sessions – 16 hours)
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT FUNDAMENTALS
- THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS: AGILE METHODOLOGIES
- DO WE ATTRACT TALENT OR WASTE TALENT?
