Scholarships and grants for Bachelor's Degree students
Scholarships for Excellence
The Scholarships for Excellence reward students who are a true example of effort and talent, regardless of their economic or family situation.
The aim of these scholarships is to acknowledge the effort and encourage students in their constant pursuit of excellence, determination, and self-improvement.
How many scholarships are awarded?
One scholarship is awarded for each bachelor's degree, at both campuses.
What is the monetary value of the scholarship?
It consists of a reduction of up to 90% of the total program cost.
Who can apply for it?
All students who have a grade point average of 8 or higher (out of 10).
Is the scholarship annual?
No, the scholarships are awarded per semester, and for renewal, the student must maintain a weighted grade point average of 8 or higher (out of 10) in the previous semester.
Talent Scholarships
To facilitate access to university degrees, this type of scholarship takes into account, in addition to the candidates’ academic records, their economic and family situation. For this purpose, a criteria has been established to determine the criteria for granting them.
How many scholarships are awarded?
It will depend on the available scholarship resources and the number of received applications.
Who can apply for it?
Students with a high school grade point average of 7 or higher (out of 10)
Students enrolling in at least 60 credits
Students without prior university degrees
Students whose family income falls within the thresholds of each call
What is its monetary value?
For the academic year 2024/2025, they will cover a maximum of 60% of the academic fee according to the criteria indicated in the guidelines.
Is the scholarship annual?
The Talent Scholarships are awarded for all four years of the degree, but they are renewed on a semester basis. To renew them, the recipient must also fulfill their commitment to the UIE by maintaining a weighted average of 7 or higher (out of 10) in the previous semester and completing the required semester hours dedicated to participating in university life and social commitment activities.
Are UIE scholarships compatible with those from other institutions?
Yes, as long as the combined amount does not exceed the cost of your studies at UIE.
Rector's Council Scholarship
The UIE student with the best weighted average grade each semester will obtain a scholarship for the following semester for the value of 100% of the academic fee.

What is the monetary value of the scholarship?
These scholarships can cover up to 60% of the total cost of the master's program for which they are being applied..
Who can apply for it?
Students who can provide evidence of a strong academic transcript, with a minimum grade point average of 7 in a university degree recognized in the European Higher Education Area. Students whose family income falls within the thresholds established for each call. For the academic year 2024/2025, they will cover a maximum of 60% of the academic fee according to the criteria indicated in the guidelines.

Bonus Plan
In addition to our scholarship and grants program, UIE has designed a wide range of discounts. Our goal is to facilitate our students’ access to innovative education that they deserve.
One-Time Payment Discount
Students who choose to make a one-time payment within the first 30 days of the program commencement date will receive a 2% discount on the academic fee.
Disability Discount
Students with certification of a disability level equal to or greater than 33% receive a 10% discount on the academic fee charges.
Family Discount at the University
The second and subsequent family members receive a 10% discount on the academic fee, as long as both are still pursuing their studies. This bonus applies to fathers, mothers, children, siblings and spouses.
Alumni Discount
Former students, both from IESIDE and UIE, and their first-degree relatives will receive an 18% discount on the academic fee. They must provide evidence of membership in the Alumni Association.
Large Family Discount
General category large families receive a 5% discount on the academic fee. Special category large families receive a 10% discount.
Business Competitiveness Discount
UIE has signed collaboration agreements with multiple associations and professional organizations, allowing entities and individuals belonging to these groups to pursue their development under preferential conditions.
Are the discounts compatible with UIE scholarships?
Yes, but to be compatible, students must submit both applications at the same time.
Are the Discounts Cumulative?
The discounts are not cumulative and will apply to academic fees (excluding reservation and enrollment fees).
