The Intelligent Systems Engineering degree is perfect for you if you are attracted to technology and believe in its role as a basis for the development of society and the company. Since UIE is a private university, the Degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering does not have a cut-off mark. You will become a STEM professional, (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). A highly demanded profile in the working market, which will allow you to lead processes of intelligent digital transformation of companies, organizations and institutions.
You will acquire the knowledge and tools to assess the organizational environment at all its functional levels. In addition to identifying, formulating and developing projects that involve emerging technologies and the different areas of Artificial Intelligence.
You will develop specific skills to the engineering branch (mathematics, algebra, calculus, computing and information technology, etc.) and also those related to companies (organization, management, operations, logistics, production…). So that you will be able to apply the different technological developments to the management of the business.
You will become a nomad of knowledge and innovation. You will understand and apply emerging technological advances: intelligent agents and multi-agent systems, machine vision, written and spoken natural language processing, automation, the Internet of things, robotics and digital twins, etc.
You will live the reality of the company on campus. The modern practicum developed by UIE includes activities such as: workshops, visits to companies, conferences, meetings with businessmen and managers, etc. You will learn from professionals with extensive experience and accredited academic qualifications, a key aspect for you to learn to do.
We will provide you with your first working experience through the internship program, which is part of the content of the degree.

The degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering lasts four academic years (240 ECTS credits). However, you can advance your studies with the Summer semester, a unique opportunity that we only offer you at UIE.
To enroll in courses taught in English, students must have a level equivalent to or higher than B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
At UIE we go one step further in your training so that you end up being the professional you have always dreamed of being. We do this through complementary training activities:
Practical workshops, conferences, company visits, congresses, non-curricular internships, seminars, language laboratories… And an endless number of academic and socio-educational activities organized by the university!

Once admission to the degree has been confirmed, it will be necessary to pay the amount corresponding to the place reservation. Once the payment has been made, a letter of admission will be received and the spot will be guaranteed for the student in question.
The €500 spot reservation is an advance payment on account of the oficial tuition fee and represents the student’s confirmation that he/she wishes to continue the enrollment procedures at UIE, thus guaranteeing his/her spot.
The reservation fee must be paid prior to enrollment. From UIE we recommend that the reservation of a place is made within a maximum period of 7 natural days from the communication of the admission to the degree program.
It is paid in one single payment before the beginning of the course, within the term stipulated by UIE.
The academic fee is billed from September to June, both months included. The academic fee is calculated by multiplying the number of credits in which the student is enrolled by the amount of the corresponding credit.
Each full course contains 60 credits (ECTS)

Combining the degree with a Master’s is a very recommended option with which you will obtain highly specialized training.
In addition, your degree opens the door to all EIU master’s degrees. As a student, you will not need to carry out any paperwork or access tests. You will already have a booked spot!
If your vocation is the academy and research, studying a degree and a Master’s will grant you the 3000 ECTS needed for the access to the Doctorate programs of the UIE.
