What is the Career Counseling Service?
You already know that at UIE, our main goal is to ensure your employability and help you succeed in your job placement process.
Therefore, from the Career Counselling Service, we promote several activities that will prepare you for your future career and help you make the leap to the job market.
Curricular internships management
Our university Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees include external internships as part of the study program. The aim is for all our students to finish their studies with accredited work experience. That certainly is an advantage that will open many doors for them at the beginning of their professional career.
We help you in the internship placement process
The internship placement model has been designed based on how a real hiring process works. It is you, the student, who chooses which offers you want to apply for, thus initiating the process, and submitting your resume, which will later be reviewed by the companies.
On our part, we will guide you throughout the placement process and we will advise you on which offers to apply for taking into account your:

- PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
Profesional Training
In addition to offering you professional counselling, we work closely with you to help you take the leap to the job market.

Meetings with entrepreneurs and managers
One of the best ways to make you see the role of business men, is to bring them into our classrooms so that you can meet in person real business managers and entrepreneurs from different companies.
How we do it?
From the Career Counseling Service we organize meetings with professionals with different profiles within companies in the sector, to promote your contact with those who could be your future employers. Among them:
- Alumni (former students of UIE)
- Human Resources Managers
- Human Resources Directors and Entrepreneurs
- Executives of National and International Companies
