For this reason, a version called WhatsApp Business was created.

Initially, you will need to download the app. This first step is very simple. You can find it at Google Play Store or App Store from Apple. For computers, it is available for Windows and Mac (you can use WhatsApp Web).

You can even download the app and manage a single account from multiple devices linked to one smartphone.

When installing the app, it is important that you read and understand the WhatsApp Business policies before you start using it.

Create a company profile

You can show all the information of your business or activity, such as name, address, opening hours, website, etc.

This way, not only do customers have all the data they need, but they have the confidence that a real company is behind the screen. Your company profile is your business card.

You can create a company profile from the menu Settings >> Company settings>>> Profile (by pressing Edit).

Create tags to organize everything

To better manage your customers’ messaging, you can mark conversations with colored tags. This way, you can recognize the subject of the conversation and it will be easier for you to manage your customers’ needs. In addition, you will save time.

A tag is a list where you can sort your contacts by subject. You can create up to 20 tags according to your needs, for example:

  • Order completed.
  • New customer.
  • Outstanding payment.
  • Paid.
  • Etc. (you can edit them).

Set predefined messages

To accelerate your processes and create better communication flows, you can set up certain standard messages. For example, the welcome greeting or when you are off duty (for vacations, bank holiday, etc.).

This feature is really useful to design quick answers to the most frequently asked questions that users have and to automate this process.

Manage your product catalog

The product catalog management is located in the menu Settings >> Company Settings >> Catalog.

From there you can create a new catalog and add products and services to it. You have the option to name each product and insert images.
