On October 27 at the UIE campus in A Coruña, as part of the presentation of the Executive Master in Digital Management, we will have a meeting with Diego Asorey, Co-founder and COO of Kendra Realidades Alternativas and Óscar González, IT director of the Technological Institute from Galicia. Both are experts in adapting companies and organizations to the 4.0 reality and with their participation in this masterclass we will be able to delve into alternatives to transfer to our management to be more efficient and competitive.
Diego Asorey will give the presentation titled “Metaverse: what it is, what it is NOT and how to take advantage of it”. Diego is currently participating in the development of a metaverse with several European universities, where his students will be able to debate, share experiences, defend their thesis or even attend virtual laboratories.
Óscar González will talk about“Artificial Intelligence: Key to digital transformation processes. Practical aspects ” to help us understand what we can do to advance the shift to “digital” based on his experience in implementing 4.0 services based on intelligent IoT platforms.
About the speakers:
Diego Asorey is the COO of Kendra, expert in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality developments. He was recognized by Apple in 2018 as the best augmented reality developer in Spain, he received an Accésit for innovation in 2019 and was awarded in 2020 as the Best Entrepreneur in Galicia.
In 2020 in Kendra they developed the first metaverse intended for congress and events sector thanks to the Galician Tourism Cluster.
Óscar González Represas,Industrial Technical Engineer from the University of Vigo, he currently works as Director of the ICT and Software Engineering Division in theGalician Technological Institute (ITG), national technological center based in A Coruña. At the same time, he holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer in the company Flythings Technologies. With more than 10 years of experience in the IoT field, he has participated in different research projects, leading the center’s software development activities.
