This July 7, the Afundación headquarters in A Coruña will host an event dedicated to artificial intelligence within the framework of the 21st edition of Mundos Digitales, the International Congress of Animation, Visual Effects and New Media.

This week the city of A Coruña hosts one of the most outstanding events in the world of digital animation: the XXI edition of Digital Worlds, the International Congress of Animation, Visual Effects and New Media.
The congress is held from July 6 to 8 and in its programming, we can find several proposals organized in collaboration with our university that will take place at the Afundación headquarters in A Coruña.
On Friday afternoon, July 7 at 7:30 p.m., the disseminator and professor of AI, Carlos Santana, will give the conference “Welcome to the 4th Revolution”, in which he will talk to us about how artificial intelligence has become one of the most revolutionary technologies of recent years and will analyze the origins of this new revolution and where it will take us in the coming years.
During this day the conclusions of the AI OBSERVATORY, a study that analyzes the impact of AI on our society developed by the creative agency BAP Conde in collaboration with Mundos Digitales. A social and cultural observatory for those curious about the future and the present, in which the results obtained from the study carried out on non-expert society (and experts in the field) on the impact of artificial intelligence today will be presented.
The presentation of the day will be given by Eladio Dapena González, Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of our university.
The event is framed in “Culture for nourishment”, so Afundación invites those who attend to donate non-perishable products that will go to the food bank. Admission is free, upon registration on the website. Ataquilla.

Carlos Santana Vega is a disseminator, youtuber and professor in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He is the creator of the YouTube channel Dot CSV which has more than 750,000 subscribers and is specialized in the field of AI, simplifying the most advanced concepts in the world of machine learning. He is also a professor of Machine Learning & Data Science in the School of Industrial Organization.
