Next Wednesday, March 29, a day of reflection on the impact of artificial intelligence on today’s society will take place in A Coruña, organized by AESIA (Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence) and Onda Cero, at the Afundación A Coruña facilities.
The event will have three large thematic blocks and will be attended by Eladio Dapena, dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Business Technology of the UIE, who will participate in the debate on how both public and private institutions train specialists in AI.
The three blocks into which the event is divided are the following:
Assessment of what it means that A Coruña is the headquarters of AESIA.

Speakers: Eladio Dapena (dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Business Technology and professor of the UIE Intelligent Systems Engineering degree). Alfonso Martínez, Cidade das ICT manager. Miguel Angel Acero Alvarez, Head of digital transformation and innovation IZERTIS.
The business part. How AI is already implemented today in companies with practical examples.
Speakers: Eduardo Aldao, director of innovation at ABANCA, Marcos Ortego, responsible for AI projects at CITIC, INCIBIC and CHUAC and Nuria Avalos Villamor, Director of Digital Consortiums at REPSOL.
